How to Make Celtic Knots Tutorial for Illustrator

1-Open New File Ctrl+N
2-View >Show Grid
3-Select the Polygon Tool and set the radius and sides
4-Select the polygon shape and open
Object>Path>Offset Path
5-Set the offset,joins,miter limits
I used offset:15pt miter limit:4
1-Select the polygon shapes and click mouse right
2-Make Compound Path
Now select the Rotate Tool and rotate the polygon 180 angle
Rotate Tool: keyboard (R) or Select shapes and click mouse right Transform>Rotate
Select the Rotate Tool and rotate the polygon 45 angle
Select the polygon shapes and click Ctrl+D or
Click mouse right and Transform>Transform Again
Ctrl+D
Select the shapes and Window>Patfinder
Add to shape area (Alt-click to expand)
